Vor is a character in Dark Road. She is one of the classmates of the Keyblade wielder class that Xehanort is a part of, and accompanies Xehanort and Eraqus on their journey.

Vor and the rest of the lower class of Scala ad Caelum, is summoned by Master Odin for an exceptional lesson: indeed, the students of the upper class have disappeared while visiting the outer worlds in preparation for their Examination of the Symbol of Mastery. Odin then tasks his students with dividing into two groups of three and going in search of them, despite the lower class students not usually being expected to learn how to travel between worlds.

The two groups explore Agrabah and Wonderland, but return empty-handed, returning to Scala ad Caelum to tune in. In the end, they decide not to tell Master Odin, and go back to investigate.

Characteristics[]

Vor is blessed with impressive magical talent, but she avoids fights and has never reached her full potential. Being the youngest in the class, she displays a childish attitude, especially towards Eraqus. She has a calm and cheerful disposition, which belies the inner strength of her.

She is a small girl with short brown hair and green eyes. She wears a white blouse over purple puffy shorts, and a purple dress with puffy sleeves, decorated with blue bows on her back. She also wears black and white boots adorned with gold and black knee-high socks. She wears two golden belts and a brown belt at her waist, and two turquoise belts over her blouse forming the Dissenter's Seal; however, a gold Symbol of Mastery is present at the intersection.

Her armor is pale pink in color, with the Symbol of Mastery in gold on her forehead. Her helmet has a transparent purple visor, and fins that curve upwards. Her armbands are wide, evoking the puffed sleeves of her coat.

Behind the scenes[]

Her name could be a reference to Vör, a goddess of Norse mythology notable for her wisdom and curiosity. Its Japanese name, Ver, could also be a diminutive of Verdandi, one of the norns, the giant goddesses of mythology who preside over destiny. Verdandi represents the present; with her sisters Urd (the past) and Skuld (the future), she resides at the Well of Urd or Well of Destiny and waters the world's Tree Yggdrasil with its waters.
