Second Form is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts III. Second Form is the Formchange for the Kingdom Key, as well as variations of it being used for Starlight and the DLC Keyblades Phantom Green, Midnight Blue, and Dawn Till Dusk.
Appearance[]
When in Second Form, Sora's attire stays the same with the exception of the color scheme changing to match his clothing in Kingdom Hearts II. Prior to getting his new vestments for Kingdom Hearts III, Sora's clothes will not change when in Second Form.
Mechanics[]
Based on the Drive Forms from Kingdom Hearts II and Command Styles from Birth By Sleep, Second Form is the only Formchange where Sora's Keyblade retains its original look and only Sora's clothes change. While his Keyblade does not transform, Sora's combat changes heavily. He is able to use old abilities that were present in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Among his ground combo attacks are Guard Break, Explosion, and Ripple Drive, and among his aerial combo attacks are Aerial Finish and Magnet Burst; abilities which were all from KHII/KHIIFM. This Formchange also acts as a successor to Limit Form, with Sora able to perform Limit-like Situation Command attacks. The Keyblade used determines the third level finisher.
