The Novashadow is a Pureblood Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It is fought in Wonderland.

Strategy

Attacks

• The Novashadow sinks into the ground and then rises from the floor, sending out a shockwave.
• The Heartless sinks into the ground and, as it rises, charges in the player's direction.

At the start of this battle, Lock-On to the Heartless and slowly approach it. Right as the battle begins, it will sink into the ground, homing in on the player. When it rises, it can either send out a shockwave or charge at you, both of which can be avoided by dodge rolling.

Use caution as it may slash with its claws, which, if it contacts, will inflict Flip-foot status on you. However, due to its large size, its claw slashing attack cannot touch you if you are on the ground. These two attacks are the only ones in this Boss's arsenal.

The Novashadow is highly vulnerable to magic, particularly the Aero Spell. You shouldn't have to worry about your HP in this battle, as Luxord will heal you in times of need. If your HP does hit the "Alarm Zone," do not hesitate to make use of your Limit Break. Follow this strategy, and the Novashadow should fall in defeat rather quickly.
