Template:Game New Moon is a Claymore that can be wielded by Saïx in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It is Saïx's basic weapon, and therefore requires no Gear to be attached to him in order to wield it.
Design
The New Moon has a short, light grey handle with a black spike set in its pommel. It has a large, two-pronged blade. The base of the blade sports a short spike on either of its sides. The tip of each prong is flat and slats inward. The entirety of the blade is light grey and has grey edges.
When Saïx enters his berserk state, the entire blade gains a thick, white additional blade around it. This new blade has thin, light blue edges.
The Werewolf and Berserker claymores are palette swaps of New Moon.
A "new moon" is a lunar phase where the moon is hardly visible in the sky due to no sunlight reflecting of the side that faces the Earth.
Gameplay
New Moon’s normal ground combo consists of two identical, fast downward diagonal slashes followed by a leap forward and a more powerful downward diagonal slash. The 
-Combo can be activated after the second attack, and consists of a dash forward, followed by a 360 degree spinning swipe.
The aerial combo consists of a sideways slash, followed by an upward diagonal slash and a more powerful downward vertical slash.
