Kristoff is first seen with Anna, Sven, and Olaf at the frozen lake where they first meet Sora, Donald, and Goofy. They introduce themselves and become acquainted. When Sora finds out Elsa is Anna's sister, he tells them that she is in trouble. Kristoff then goes off with Sven and Olaf to find food while Anna and Sora remain behind to talk. The three are then ambushed by Heartless, but they manage to evade them, with only Olaf's body breaking apart.
