The Knight's Shield (騎士の盾, Kishi no Tate^?) is Goofy's default weapon, and it befits his kind and chivalrous nature. It appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts III.

Design

The Knight's Shield is circular with thin, gold edges. It is sky blue and has a large, black silhouette of a hidden Mickey's head which is bordered with the golden outline, emblazoned on its face.

Gameplay

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Knight's Shield appears in Mission Mode as Goofy's default shield, therefore requiring no Gears to be equipped for its use. The ground combo of this weapon consists of an initial thrust with the shield, followed by a series of 360 degree spins, and finishes with a rush forward and an upward slash.

The aerial combo consists of an upward slash then Goofy doing a backflip, jumping on the shield, and facing downwards, driving it down.
