Okay, I know I'm creating a technically deleted page, but I need to speak up : SE released a press statement concerning Recoded's release for the DS (I'm yet to find the link), and that Recoded will be shown in the E3 (here). So people, why the silence about this ? An tabouliner yaouank 01:53, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
EDIT 01:56, June 10, 2010 (UTC) : The statement seems to be on KHDestiny.fr, but I'm still searching the source. Apparently the site's only gonna be up in 5 days... So the statement should be released by then.
I think Game Informer mentioned something about it as well...hang on...
- Suhweet ! :D Should I write something, or has it already been put in Roxas' Diary ? An tabouliner yaouank 03:01, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, let me see... First, Phil Snyder leaked it out on his site. Then, SE comes up with the press statement... the translation of which happened to be on KHDestiny.fr. And now, Game Informer confirms that Recoded's going to be out on the DS. So the only one confirmed to lend his talent is Phil Snyder. Others, well, we can already guess, but we need statements. Thoughts ? An tabouliner yaouank 03:08, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
The Best Wiki competition... ?
See this page. Thought it'd be a good way to get KHW onto the spotlight for two whole weeks, what with Re:coded and BBS coming out. The focus needs to be on Kingdom Hearts !
This was my comment on the blog entry, you may read it there if you like :
Alright, my two cents :
The Kingdom Hearts Wiki has been providing more official information than any other Kingdom Hearts database would ever provide. Now with 1913 articles, we take our games seriously, and the minutest detail is considered important. Precision is our way to go, and we make sure we’re precise in every bit of information, from stats to strategies to story information to journal entries, right down to the renders.
Mainspace aside, we have really cool templates and user-friendly stuff for our user space ! We also get in the know of the latest developments in KH before most sites actually do (with our Kingdom Hearts Wiki:Trinity Report). And to top it all up, we are THE English-language database to refer to for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix-related articles, while these games only saw a Japanese release.
And last but not least, Square + Disney = epic win. : )
Voice Actor Proposal
Why don't we have articles of the voice actors? Many of the actors had a big impact on th KH community (ie. Wayne Allwine's death). On every character page, it has a link to his/her actor's page on wikipedia. Wikipedia tells about the person's life in general and not his/her career in the Kingdom Hearts series. If you look at other wikis, you could find articles of the actors who play the characters in that series. And along with the game templates, we also have the real world template. So why not have articles on people such as Haley Joel Osment, Jesse McCartney, Bill Farmer, or Wayne Allwine? SeanWheeler 22:06, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
On the main page it says: "March 30th, 2011 - The Keyhole and the Kingdom Hearts series are both passing through marvelous marks — Kingdom Hearts 3D is almost ready, and is surprising everyone at each realeased new, while the Keyhole is growing quickly, directing itself to a more fan-friend basis." Should the year be 2012?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 22:34, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
- This is going to sound like the most obvious idea but, a journal with the keyhole logo on top of it? I'm not sure what else could work nicely here heh Dragon of the Sky 13:57, September 22, 2016 (UTC)
Why not? A logo sounds like a good thought to me. It'd make the page more recognisable, making it stand out more. I like the idea of using a journal, but rather than using our logo itself, perhaps we could go with a more simple design of a keyhole from the series? Like one of these maybe? Yea that's what I meant by logo, my class was almost over so I had to type something short and quick, my bad there. Honestly we could just use one of the outlined versions from the symbols page and color it to a golden tone so it fits nicely. Dragon of the Sky 18:30, September 22, 2016 (UTC)
