Fruitball is a minigame in Disney Town in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. This minigame can be played by Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. There are three rounds in this minigame, although Aqua's episode has an additional entrance round against some Shoegazers. The object of this game is to score more goals than your opponents in three minutes.
Fruits[]
There 5 different types of fruits, and each fruit behaves differently:
- Bananas: If they take too much damage, they split into banana peels. If you step on them, you'll be stunned for a short time. Rotate the analog stick to speed up the recovery process. Always try to spike the dangerous fruits to increase the odds of them breaking up on your opponent's side of the court.
- Grapes: When they take a certain amount of damage, they'll break off into smaller grapes, each individual grape can score a goal.
- Watermelons: There is a chance that, if they hit you, you'll be stunned. Rotate the analog stick to speed up the recovery process.
- Pineapples: Pineapples can stun you if they hit you. You can rotate the analog stick to speed up the recovery process.
- Apples: Apples have no special effects.

*Round 0 is playable only by Aqua. It can only be played once.
Enemy Behavior:[]
- Shoegazers: Only available for Aqua. Although they outnumber you 3-to-1, they can't stop Fast Shots very well.
- Bruisers: They will mainly use Curve and Shoot, but they lack in defense.
- Chip & Dale: They will use the Bump + Fast Shot combo very often in this one, and they are quite fast, and their defense is mediocre. If one of them is stunned, they can't do their combo, since Dale does the Bump, and Chip does the Fast Shot.
- Captain Justice/Captain Dark: His defense is quite strong in this one, consistently blocking your shots, but the Bump + Fast Shot can still work effectively. If you are hit by a fruit by Captain Justice/Captain Dark, you will be stunned temporarily.
Mechanics[]
Each match takes 3 minutes. During the match, pieces of fruit are dropped on both sides of the centerline. Different buttons can be used to send fruit in various directions. Fruit can also be knocked in the air before sending it at the opponent's side. Airborne fruit can be knocked back with a smash when prompted. Fruit will disappear if left alone for 5 seconds. If a fruit is close to reaching your goal, you can press Triangle to instantly knock the fruit back, like a Fast Shot.
Both sides' goals will move from left to right, and up and down. Occassionally, nets will appear on the centerline, bouncing back fruit that flies against it. Once the time is up, the side with the highest score wins. In the case of a tie, a Sudden Death is held, making the first side to score a point the victor.
- X Button (Shoot): Simply knocks fruits straight to the opponent's side. Can use the left analog stick to aim where to shoot it.
- Square Button (Curve): Hits the fruits with a spin, hitting it against the wall for it to bounce.
- Triangle Button: Knocks the Fruit up in the air, which you can later follow up with another button prompt.
After using Bump[]
- Triangle Button x2 (Bump + Smash): Spikes the fruit AT the enemy, it can damage Bananas, and Grapes, and you can stun enemies with the Pineapples.
- Triangle + Square button (Bump + Fast Curve): Hits the fruits with a spin, hitting it against the wall for it to bounce.
- Triangle + X button (Bump + Fast Shot): The ideal way of scoring, you hit the fruit straight ahead, and you can use the left analog stick aim where you want to shoot at.
The ideal strategy to score is to consistently use the Bump+Fast Shot Combo, and you can tilt the Left Analog Stick in the direction you want to shoot, so you'll more often than not score quite a few goals with this combo alone.
