Description
Each Formchange has a special Shotlock as well, with the unique attack being activated and replacing Sora's equipped Shotlock for that Keyblade if the lock-on count is at MAX when it is unleashed. The MAX Shotlock of each form utilizes the highest level of Sora's Keyblade transformation, if there is one, whether or not the transformation is currently active when it is used.

Trivia
- While Formchange as a mechanic was not introduced until Kingdom Hearts III, the act of transforming Keyblades has been seen in previous games. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the Lingering Will is able to change his Keyblade into different forms. In Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, No Heart is able to morph their Keyblade. Young Xehanort also has the ability to morph his keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
