Titan Cup Trophy

The Titan Cup trophy.

The Titan Cup is a series of arena matches at the Underdrome that becomes available after completing your second visit to the Olympus Coliseum in Kingdom Hearts II and its Final Mix version. The Pain and Panic Paradox Cup becomes available after clearing the Pain and Panic Paradox Cup, and by reaching Summon level 5, and is accessible by talking to Hades.

The Titan Cup consists of ten rounds, with a battle level of 41, or 45 in the Final Mix version, and 80 in the Paradox Cup for either. It features the same enemies as fought in Hollow Bastion (during your last visit), Space Paranoids, a few other Heartless, and all variants of Nobodies encountered so far. The various rounds feature enemy configurations that are tougher than normal, and often not at all encountered during typical fights. The Cup also forces Sora to fight alone, but allows him to use Summons without his allies present. The Cup also features a point counter, which decreases every time Sora takes a hit, forcing an instant loss if it reaches zero.

Enemies encountered are Magnum Loaders, Dusks, a Morning Star, Assassins, Strafers, Berserkers, Snipers, Trick Ghosts, Dancers, Neoshadows, Air Pirates, Dragoons, a Bookmaster, Samurais, Crimson Jazzes, Minute Bombs, a Devastator. From round five onwards rocks fall from the ceiling that deal damage on hit. Although Sora should be able to handle these alone, the point counter ensures it is impractical to risk a prolonged fight of ten rounds purely due to attrition, so relying on Summons is highly recommended. Note that leveling up the Summons beforehand is recommended, but not required.

All summons are viable to some degree; Genie's "Master" Genie form's Arcana limit is powerful on its own, and so are to a lesser degree the limits available from Stitch and Peter Pan. Both also combat support, but not to the point that they should be relied for on that. Chicken Little, however, is reliable as far as combat support goes due to his whistle ability. Chicken can easily neutralize all enemies encountered, and conveniently also move them close together towards you while leaving them unable to act on it.

Hercules bossfight[]

Titan Cup gameplay

Titan Cup gameplay.

Hercules only has four attacks; an aerial slam that creates a shockwave, a punch, a charged punch, and a ramming charge. All four are very clearly telegraphed by him and easy to avoid with Quick Run, but also deal immense damage if he does manage to deal a hit. Recommended summons are either Genie's Arcana Limit, or Peter Pan who will deal additional damage while you attack Hercules, and can then use his Neverland Limit to deal further damage as well.

The reward in both versions is the Genie Shield shield for Goofy, as well as a Skillful Ring. Completing the Paradox version grants no reward. Jiminy's Journal has two separate score requirements: 5,000 for the normal Cup, and 10,000 for the Paradox version. Using Stitch's Ohana! and Peter Pan's Never Land Limits is recommended for reaching the indicated scores.
