The Kingdom Hearts II light novels are based on the second video game, Kingdom Hearts II. The series was released as four volumes and two short story volumes in Japan by Square Enix, and later translated into English by Yen Press as two omnibus's. The short stories called "Other Diamonds" and "Axel - Seven Days" were never translated into English.
