Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover[]

At an undetermined period, Aced became one of the apprentices of the Master of Masters, alongside Ava, Gula, Invi, Ira, and Luxu. He was given a Keyblade forged from his own heart by the Master of Masters, and eventually achieved the rank of Keyblade Master himself.

Sometime after, Aced was assigned as the leader of the Ursus Union and was given a copy of the Book of Prophecies. He, alongside four of the five apprentices, was tasked with the collection of Lux by defeating the Heartless in several worlds. In addition, Aced was also introduced to the Chirithy, a Spirit created by the Master of Masters to guide and aid Keyblade wielders. In time, Aced was personally instructed by the Master that in the event of him disappearing, Aced would have to support Ira as their new leader. Upon being informed that Ira's leadership may prove insufficient one day, and that he must step forward when such an event happens. Aced accepted the role given to him.

The Master of Masters eventually disappeared, and the Foretellers met again at the behest of Ira, who both announced his belief that a traitor existed amongst the Foretellers, giving the appearance of a Nightmare Chirithy as his proof, upon which Aced immediately proclaimed his innocence. The usage of the special bangles that allowed the Union members to collect dark energy was used by Ira to back his belief of a traitor in the Foretellers, claiming that only one of them could have acquired such an item. Aced backs Invi when she disagreed with Ira's accusation, questioning both the association of the bangles to the power of darkness and that of the Nightmare Chirithy's involvement, then blaming Ira for having cast the seeds of doubt amongst the five Keyblade masters.

After the meeting Aced invites Gula, Ava, and Invi for a secret meeting, to discuss an alliance between thier union. Gula agrees on the condition that his union members not be involved while Ava politely declines, not wanting to break with the master's teachings. Aced understands Ava's views but when he offers an alliance with Invi, she angrily tells him that alliances were expressly forbidden by the Master of Masters. Invi then accuses Aced of being the traitor, to which Aced accuses her of spying on the unions for Ira. Ira shocked by this accusation leaves the meeting, while Ava says that she hopes everything will work out fine.

A while later Gula breaks off his alliance with Aced citing the alliance as unnecessarily and that darkness hadn't acted for a long time. When pressed by Aced however, Gula reveals that Invi convinced him to break the alliance. Aced grabbed Gulas by the scruff of his neck and angrily states they have yet to find the traitor, to which Gula states that he simply can't trust anyone now. As Gula leaves, Aced swears that Invi will regret interfering.

In the streets of Daybreak Town, Aced unleashes a surprise attack on Invi. He asks why Invi keeps getting in his way and Invi retorted that she is only doing what the Master asked her to do. She manages to stun Aced using her water magic and Ava and Gula arrive. Invi convinced them that Aced is the traitor and Aced is forced to fight all three of this Foreteller comrades.

Aced manages to hide but is cornered by Gula. Gula explains that his role is to find the traitor and that a lost page in the Book of Prophecies foretold of one. Aced became enraged to learn that Gula just sat on the sidelines while the rest of the Foretellers each other. Both Aced and Gula summon thier Keyblades and strike, but the heavily injured Aced emerges victorious. Just before Aced strikes the final blow, Ava lets out and shields Gula's body with her own. Disappointed than Ava also thinks of him as the traitor, Aced spares them and leaves.

A wounded Aced limps away through Daybreak Town's streets, just as he encounters Ira. Aced slumps against a wall, requesting only for a quick death, but Ira helps him up stating that the Foreteller's numbers are too small as it is. Aced admits that Ira's forgiving nature is why he respects him so much but, that a Foreteller might have already turned traitor. Aced reveals that Gula is in possession of the lost page and the traitor is described in it. Ira orders Aced to lay low while he deals with Gula, to which Aced obliges to.

Kingdom Hearts χ[]

If the Player joins Union Ursus, they meet with Aced shortly after arriving in Daybreak Town. He explains that the player's keyblade allows them to take on lesser Heartless but stronger foes must be conquered using groups of Keyblade wielders. After a battle with a Darkside Heartless, Aced warns all present that some wielders were corrupted by darkness and they must find these traitors. He then summons a portal and leaves the wielders.

An outline of Aced is seen when the Player's Chirithy explains the Foretellers to the Players. Chirithy explains that the Foretellers were given thier names and the Book of Prophecies by the Master of Masters. Even through they each walk different paths, they all wish to prevent the events described in the last page of the book; That on a fated land and great war will transpire, darkness would prevail while light expires.

If the Player joins Union Ursus, Aced talks to a Chirthy about the Keyblade wielder's high collection rate of Lux. He observes that the darkness also continues to expand despite the wielders efforts. Chirthy asks that if a traitor exists amongst the Foretellers, to which Ursus says that he doesn't believe that yet.

Aced is next seen fighting Invi across the roofs of building in Daybreak Town. As thier battle intensifies, Aced casts a lightning spell which pushes Invi back.

If the Player is a part of Union Ursus Ava disguised as Aced, interrupts the Player and Skuld as they look through the Master's study. "Aced" chastises Chirithy for letting the wielders enter a restricted area and walks past the Player and Skuld. He recounts that another Keyblade wielder also broke through the Clocktower earlier in the week. Ira tells the group that Ephemer was only using them for information and that he killed him. Wishing to avenge Ephemer, the Player challenges Aced to a fight, accepting that this could mean that they had darkness in thier heart.

During a confrontation between keyblade wielders of opposing unions, Aced reinforces his belief that they could only place trust in thier own union. He tells those present that victory is a sign of strength and that a strong union is a just union. When Skuld utters her disbelief, Aced points out that she is part of the Dandelions and that Ava is just gathering exceptional wielders like Skuld to increase her own power. The Player then disagrees with Aced exclaiming that they are not part of the Dandelions but in response Aced summons his keyblade and challenges the Player to a fight.

After the battle, Aced tells the Player that they are not worthy of a Keyblade just as Ira walks in on the scene. Ira condemns Aced for attacking another Keyblade wielder but Aced just tells him that he was just testing the Player. Aced then condemns the other four Foretellers for collecting Lux at such a competitive rate, causing strife between the unions. Aced concludes that only a single leader could maintain the world's balance and that he, along with his union would banish the other Foretellers while Aced would lead in thier stead. When Ira doubts Aced's strength, Aced summons a portal and leaves.

During the Keyblade War if the Player is not a part of Union Ursus, Aced meets the player on the battlefield. He recognizes them from earlier and tells the player that what they lack potential they make up for in courage. After a fight with the Player, he commends them for thier strength but tells them it make the Player a threat. Aced then strikes the Player, knocking them down and almost killing them, only to be blocked by Ira. Aced then knocks Ira away and follows him.

Aced attacks Ira later, as the latter is distracted fighting the Player. Aced expresses his desire to rebuild after the Keyblade war as its new Master. Ira and Aced jump away to battle it out together.

Kingdom Hearts III[]

As seen in the epilogue, Ace and the other foretellers, excluding Ava, were summoned by Xigbar, who survived the Second Keyblade War, retrieves Xehanort's Keyblade, and revealing himself to be an incarnation of their fellow Keyblade apprentice, Luxu. Upon his arrival, he angrily questions Luxu about the events that had occurred, and what was Luxu's role.

Abilities[]

Aced has the ability to wield a Keyblade and is able to fight on par with Invi and Ira. It required the combined strength of Invi, Gula, and Ava to force Aced to retreat. Even in his weakened state, Aced is able to best Gula one-to-one. His swings are powerful enough to cause the ground to crack beneath his strikes.
