The Anchor Raider is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.
Design[]
It is a big heartless with a skull for the face. It wears a red coat with light green triangles on the front, grey fur ruffs on the collar and shoulder pads, a black captains hat with the heartless symbol, carries a red and silver sword in the left hand, and the right hand is replaced with an anchor attached to a chain that extends from a spiked cannon-like component on the arm.
Strategy[]
Anchor Raiders are always found hovering in the air due to this they are not easy to stagger because of their high reaction endurance their attacks are telegraphed and as a result have a long period of downtime between use. Guarding against their slash attack and using reprisals are very effective as well as using magic from a distance while also keeping Sora out of range of the Heartless powerful attacks. During crowded battles the Anchor Raider should be a top priority as they have tend to attack from off-screen.
Sabre Attack: Slash their target while swaying in a pendulum motion.
Anchor Shot: Charges with the sabre pointing forward.
Sabre Drop: Moves overhead their target followed by dropping and thrusting the sabre into the ground causing a shockwave.
