Explosion (エクスプロージョン, Ekusupurōjon^?) is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. In Kingdom Hearts II, it requires three AP to equip.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Explosion is an ability which provides Sora with a combo finisher. Sora lifts his Keyblade and thrusts it down, releasing three balls of light that circle around him, drilling into the enemy before knocking them away.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Explosion is a Level 5 Finish Command. Terra, Aqua, or Ventus charges energy into his or her Keyblade briefly before slamming it on the floor, causing a large ripple of energy to erupt with small energy balls coming out.

Learning Explosion

Kingdom Hearts II

Sora learns Explosion after defeating the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord in Agrabah.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix

Sora learns Explosion after defending the Solar Sailor Simulation in Space Paranoids.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Terra learns Explosion by earning 6400 CP after unlocking Dark Star 1.
Ventus learns Explosion by earning 6400 CP after unlocking Air Flair 3.
Aqua learns Explosion by earning 6400 CP after unlocking Magic Pulse 3.
