The Darkling is a Pureblood Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts χ. Darklings are one of the few Heartless who can speak.
Design[]
The darkling resembles a goblin or imp with black skin, yellow eyes, a jagged red mouth and tattered black wings. It wears a black horned hood with red spiral patterns above its eyes, black and dark grey shorts held up by a belt with a silver buckle, small red and black shoes, gloves with red string around the wrists and sharp red claws and two red thorny ropes crossed over its chest.
