Template:Game Template:Images Blizzard Edge (ブリザドブレード, Burizado Burēdo^?, lit. "Blizzard Blade") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The user executes a jumping attack while cloaked in ice, ice bursting from the ground afterwards for additional damage.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Blizzard Edge is a Basic Attack Command that has maximum level of 3, a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 20%.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded Blizzard Edge is an Attack Command that has a Memory Consumption of 13%, and has a reload time of around 10 - 12 seconds.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Terra, Aqua, and Ventus can create Blizzard Edge through Command Melding.
Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase Blizzard Edge from the Moogle Shop for 200 munny once four worlds are cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can find Blizzard Edge as a bonus on the normal Toon Board.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded

Data-Sora can create Blizzard edge through Command Conversion.
Data-Sora can purchase Blizzard edge from Moogle Shop for 1800 munny in Agrabah Town.

Recipes

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Blizzard Edge is a Basic-class Attack Command that can be melded through four different recipes, listed in the Attack Recipe.

The first recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a Template:Meldtype recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
- Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
The second recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a Template:Meldtype recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
- Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzard (LV2)
The third recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a Template:Meldtype recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
- Sliding Dash (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
The fourth recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a Template:Meldtype recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
