Destati est un morceau exclusif faisant partie intégrante de l'univers Kingdom Hearts. Musique utilisée pour les bandes-annonces du premier épisode de la série, elle est aussi le thème associé à l'éveil, servant de fond sonore au Palier de l'Éveil dans tous les épisodes de la série, dans une version raccourcie, sous le nom de Dive into the Heart -Destati-, ainsi que de musique de combat sous le nom de Fragments of Sorrow. Elle est interprétée par le chœur philharmonique de Tokyo.
Au cours de la série, cette musique a été utilisée dans au total pas moins de dix morceaux (sans compter les différentes reprises des dits morceaux) : "Dive into the heart -Destati-", "End of the world", "Fragments of Sorrow", "Guardando nel buio", "Fantasia alla marcia for piano, chorus and orchestra", "Dismiss", "L'Eminenza Oscura" (I et II), "My Heart's Descent", et "The Eye of Darkness".
Destati eut droit à une version orchestrale dans l'album Drammatica de Yoko Shimomura, aux côtés de plusieurs des meilleures musiques de la compositrice, dont The Other Promise et The 13th Anthology.
Destati est une des musiques présentes dans le quatrième medley, dédié aux musiques de boss finaux, du concert Symphonic Fantasies de Square Enix. Malheureusement, cette dernière piste ne fut pas inclue sur le CD sorti plus tard, mais il reste possible de la visionner sur internet.
